Professional Experience

Bob joined the firm after 38 years of service to the Indianapolis Airport Authority in the roles of General Counsel, Airport Director, and finally Special Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer. During his tenure with the Airport Authority he was responsible for the Authority’s substantial land acquisition program of over $250 million dollars in expenditures, supervision of the Human Resource and Operation Departments, as well as the day to day legal and regulatory issues that affect the operation of an airport system of 6 airports including Indianapolis International Airport. He has extensive experience in aviation law and is an active pilot holding Airline Transport and Flight Instructor Certificates for single and multi-engine aircraft with total flight experience of over 8,000 hours and in his spare time has served as Chief Flight Instructor at several Indianapolis area flight training facilities as well as an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner. Bob is currently active in civic activities including service as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Robert H. McKinney School of Law-Indianapolis, Chairman of the Indianapolis Air Show, Legislative Director for the Aviation Association of Indiana, and Board Member of the Brownsburg Public Library.
